Get the skills you need to be a success on the road

Our certified driving instructors are experienced in helping you or your teenage student drivers get all of the behind-the-wheel skills necessary to drive safely, responsibly, and confidently.

Focusing on a variety of skills, including:

- Turning / hand-over-hand steering

- Speed and space management / the 4 second rule

- Lane changing

- Highway merges

- Right of way rules

- Dealing with blind spots

- City driving

- Parallel parking

- Driving test preparation and others

Are driving lessons required for new drivers in Pennsylvania?

No. Pennsylvania does not require professional driving lessons for drivers. However, for drivers under the age of 18, they do require practicing for at least 65 hours, including 10 hours of night driving, and 5 hours of inclement weather driving (rain, snow, etc),

Many insurance companies give multi-year discounts for drivers who

1. Complete behind-the-wheel training OR

2. Complete a Driver's Ed Class (classroom or online)

In some cases discounts are available until age 21 or older. Many (not all) insurance companies require 6 hours of behind-the-wheel training for discounts. Check with your insurance company for details.
