BEHIND-THE-WHEEL AND DRIVER THEORY COURSE INSTRUCTION

HOW MUCH DO THESE SERVICES COST?

The cost of services will vary depending on the number of behind-the-wheel hours are driven or which course type is chosen, ie. 1 hour session vs. 2 hour session, online course vs. classroom instruction, etc. While we are always affordable, there is no price that can be placed on learning safe driving. Your vehicles are valuable, but your child cannot be replaced.

Many insurance companies offer discounts to those beginner drivers that successfully completed a driver education program. Some insurance companies make this discount available to seniors as well. All of our services apply, including our online courses.

DRIVER’S EDUCATION SERVICES/COSTS

Our behind-the-wheel, online, and classroom driving programs and instructors have  been approved and certified by the PA Dept of Education and the PA Dept of Transportation/Motor Vehicles.

Online Driver's Ed theory class (30 HOURS)

Our 30 hour Online Driver’s Ed course cost is $79.95. This comprehensive online program can be completed at your own pace to fit your schedule. Support for this course is available by contacting us by phone or email. This training has been approved by the PA Dept. of Education and fulfills the state required 30 hours of “driving theory instruction.”

Classroom Driver’s Ed theory (30 HOURS) – 5 student minimum

Our 30 hour class Driver’s Ed class cost is $120. This course is offered as ten 3 hour sessions when 5 or more interested individuals can attend simultaneously. The state requires 30 hours of "classroom driving instruction" for teens under the age of 18, and our program fulfills that criteria and is approved by the department of education. Your student must be 15 years of age by the first day of class.  There are 10 sessions.  Only 2 may be missed, but must be made up. Door to door pickup available.

Note: An added benefit of either course is that it may qualify you for insurance discounts until age 21 or older. Check with your insurance company to be sure of their requirements.

Take the PennDOT road test

Upon completion of the 6 hour behind-the-wheel training and 30 hour online/classroom course you can  register to take the road test at a Driver License Center or 3rd Party Testing Center.  You can schedule the test yourself, or call 1-800-423-5542. If you prefer, we can schedule the Road Test for you.

Note: It can take up to 6 weeks to get an appointment to take the Road Test at a Driver License Center.
