HOW MUCH DO THESE SERVICES COST?

The cost of services will vary depending on the number of behind-the-wheel hours are driven or which course type is chosen, ie. 1 hour session vs. 2 hour session, online course vs. classroom instruction, etc. While we are always affordable, there is no price that can be placed on learning safe driving. Your vehicles are valuable, but your child cannot be replaced.

Many insurance companies offer discounts to those beginner drivers that successfully completed a driver education program. Some insurance companies make this discount available to seniors as well. All of our services apply, including our online courses.

Tuition for any unused service is 100% refundable.

WHAT IS THE LEHIGH VALLEY DRIVING SCHOOL'S LESSON CANCELLATION POLICY?

A s a courtesy, behind-the-wheel or classroom cancellations must be communicated to us 24-hours before the scheduled start time. No-shows are potentially subject to the full cost of the lesson or classroom session including termination of services.

DRIVER’S EDUCATION SERVICES/COSTS

Our behind-the-wheel, online, and classroom driving programs and instructors have been approved and certified by the PA Dept of Education and the PA Dept of Transportation/Motor Vehicles.

Driving Instruction

The cost is $140 for each 2 hour, private behind-the-wheel driving lesson in our fully insured and approved dual brakes/extra mirror equipped vehicle. A 1 hour lesson would be $75 . Hours of behind-the-wheel instruction may vary depending on your needs. 6 hours are typically required for insurance discounts. Door-to-door pick-up and drop-off is standard. Your training begins from the time of pick-up and ends at the time of drop-off. Flexibility to increase or decrease your driving time during any lesson can be made based on schedule availability.

Online Driver's Ed theory class (30 HOURS)

Our 30 hour Online Driver’s Ed course cost is $80.00. This comprehensive online program can be completed at your own pace to fit your schedule. Support for this course is available by contacting us by phone or email. This training has been approved by the PA Dept. of Education and fulfills the state required 30 hours of “driving theory instruction.”

Take the PennDOT road test

Upon completion of the 6 hour behind-the-wheel training and 30 hour online/classroom course you can register to take the road test at a Driver License Center or 3rd Party Testing Center. You can schedule the test yourself, or call 1-800-423-5542. If you prefer, we can schedule the Road Test for you.

Note: It can take up to 6 weeks to get an appointment to take the Road Test at a Driver License Center.
